Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) sets limits on the disclosure of personally identifiable information from school records, and defines the rights of the student to review the records and request a change to the records. For more information you may refer to FERPA for Students and the Davis Tech Student Records Policy
Record Requests – Official Transcripts
A permanent record of each student's educational accomplishments including coursework completed and certificates issued is recorded on a student transcript and is maintained by Student Services.
Davis Tech has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the Web. You can order transcripts using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.
To order an official transcript(s), please link to the Clearinghouse website at studentclearinghouse.org. Unofficial transcripts can be accessed by logging into your Student Portal.
The site will walk you through placing your order, including delivery option and fees. There is a $3.25 processing fee (non-refundable) for each transcript sent to a College or University. Students will be assessed an additional $.50 (.pdf security fee) for transcripts going to organizations outside of schools (i.e.. student, DOPL, Employers).
Order updates will be emailed to you and you may also track your order on-line. If you have any questions or need assistance with this site, please feel free to contact the Customer Service Department at: transcripts@studentclearinghouse.org.
