Application Instructions

We’re excited that you’re ready to apply to be a student at Davis Tech! Select the expandable section below for instructions on what’s needed to start your application.

Adult Students

Before you begin your application, have these items ready:

  • Proof of high school diploma/GED
  • Photo identification (picture and name): Government issued preferred (driver’s license, passport, military ID, Utah issued ID)
    • Transportation programs: driver‘s license required
    • Healthcare programs: driver’s license or Utah issued ID preferred
  • To be considered for a waiver of program assessments, please submit college transcripts, high school transcripts/GED scores (if taken within the last 3 years), or ACT/SAT scores (if taken within the last 5 years) for review. (official or unofficial)

High School/Dual Enrollment Students

  • Photo identification (picture and name): Government issued preferred (driver’s license, passport, military ID, Utah issued ID)
    • Can use a school ID card or digital school ID (both name and photo need to be visible) if government issued ID is not available
    • Transportation programs: driver‘s license required
    • Healthcare programs: driver’s license or Utah issued ID preferred
  • Dual enrolled high school students are required to submit 9th through present grade transcripts (official or unofficial)
  • To be considered for a waiver of program assessments, please submit high school transcripts or ACT/SAT scores for review
  • All test scores and documents must include a visible first and last name within the image/document upload
  • Upload all of these documents to the application or your application will be incomplete and delay review
  • For best results, upload documents in Portable Document Format (pdf
  • Application can take 10 to 12 business days to be initially reviewed. Time increases during peak application periods
  • We encourage students to use an email address like Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook. School email and iCloud accounts sometimes block communications

If you are planning to start a Davis Technical College Program after July 1st, 2026, please apply for the 2026-2027 academic year. Application will be available in April (Check program page for specific dates).
