American Welding Society

Davis Technical College is an American Welding Society (AWS) Accredited Test Facility. This accreditation authorizes College employed Certified Welding Inspectors (CWIs) to conduct AWS welding qualification and certification tests in accordance with AWS QC 47. The AWS issues the certification and it is the responsibility of the welder, once certified, to maintain it.
