BECOME THE STUDENT OF THE YEAR FOR 2027!

How would you like to represent your program, school, and Davis Tech? Scholarships and cash awards for six students — one to represent each school. One of these finalists will be chosen as the 2027 Student of the Year to be awarded on December 4.

$1,500 Cash Award, $1,500 Scholarship

Runner-up

$1,000 Cash Award, $1,000 Scholarship

Additional Winners (4)

$500 Cash Award, $750 Scholarship

Eligibility

  • Fill out an official application form (below) before the deadline
  • Be a current student or 2027 graduate to apply
  • You must be in good standing with the college
  • Obtain a letter of recommendation from an instructor

Application Process

Application period closes October 11.

Submit an application that includes:

  • a two-page essay (pdf) or a three- to five-minute video on the subject: What inspired you to choose Davis Technical College and how do you believe attending Davis Tech will influence your personal, academic, and professional future?

You should also mention any awards or recognition you have received — NTHS, SkillsUSA, HOSA, or other awards
