Learn to Succeed in the Workplace

The goal of these courses is to help students think critically about their life and career goals, build workplace skills, explore technology use, and improve business communication etiquette. Additionally, the courses look at career planning and how it relates to the current market conditions.

In these classes, students practice the skills necessary to prepare for a successful employment search, including completing job applications, resumes, cover letters, successful interviews, and follow-up procedures. Both the workplace success and the job seeking skills courses are offered as self-paced, blended courses that combine textbook and computerized learning activities with in-class collaboration.
