Can you say "TRANSFER CREDITS"? We were so excited to have USU President Noelle Cockett come to campus yesterday and sign an agreement with President Darin Brush for transfer credits to USU Eastern! Upon certificate completion, students can apply and take classes through the USU Davis County Extension or on campus at USU Eastern. This is such great news, and so empowering for our students! They can begin their careers with the solid skills they've learned at Davis Tech and forge their way forward by continuing their education at USU, without retaking classes.
In this agreement:
1) Students who have successfully obtained a certificate in Cosmetology from Davis Tech can receive up to 44 credits toward an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Cosmetology.
2) Davis Tech students who have completed the Business Technology program can receive up to 29 credits toward an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Small Business Operations and General Technology.
