A student highlight:
“I’ve been practicing my plumbing skills since January and am so excited to win this gold medal,” said David Roundy, “I started at Davis Tech last summer before my senior year in high school, and I plan to continue my education, get my journeyman’s license, and then work in our family plumbing business. It feels great to be number one in the nation!”

Besides preparing for this competition, David and the plumbing program have worked on numerous projects in the community including Salt Lake County homeless community mini homes, Weber County Housing Authority homes, and multiple projects with the Davis School District Catalyst Center.
