Program Description
The Diesel/Heavy Duty Technology program provides training through various classes, giving students the core foundational skills needed to gain employment in the diesel industry. Students explore the theory, operation, and preventive maintenance of diesel-powered equipment and systems, progressing to hands-on shop-based work. After demonstrating foundational knowledge, students practice hands-on skills in maintaining and repairing transmissions, differentials, braking systems, steering and suspension, hydraulics, and engine rebuilding.
