This program is only offered to Job Corps and High School students, and students located at the Mill Creek Youth Center.

The Manufacturing Technology program prepares students for high-tech manufacturing careers. In addition to learning how to produce industrial products, students will get hands-on experience in automation, robotics, composite materials technology, plastic injection molding, and welding. Students will also learn basic computer controlled machine operation and maintenance. Graduates will have foundational skills required for entry-level employment or may continue their education to specialize in any of the instructional areas.

Admission Requirements

This program is open to qualified only high school and adult Job Corps students who meet the following program requirements:

  • ADULT JOB CORPS STUDENTS: Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Must be at least 16 years of age AND be in 11th or 12th grade

Transfer Options

The following academic agreements are available to students in the Manufacturing Technology program. In order to receive credit for course work included in these agreements, you must provide a transcript to the receiving institution.

Please be aware that some agreements require you to complete the entire program before they will transfer credit. Please contact your instructor at Davis Tech if you have questions.
